Return Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return to the store within 14 days of receiving your products for a full refund. Within 30 days you are eligible for a store credit.  Store credits are redeemable in store only, not online.  If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

A Return Authorization Number (RA#) must be obtained from Takeitoutside.ca Customer Service and is required for all returns. Return Authorization Numbers expire 15 days after issuance

Takeitoutside.ca orders order returns are processed at 65 Inglis Place, Truro, Nova Scotia, B2N 4B5.

For returns not the result of a takeitoutside.ca error, original and return shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

This return policy does not apply to Special Orders. Deposits are non-refundable.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with original tags attached. Products that are returned incomplete or damaged (if accepted) will require a deduction or will not be eligible for return.  

We do not accept returns on intimate products, including packaged underwear, bathing suits, etc.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 business days.  We may need to contact you for your original card number as our system does not store personal transaction information.

Clearance items cannot be refunded.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
