Amy and Ron love to host dinner parties, and would have even more people over for dinner if they had the room. They do have the space, but its outside. A lack of defined area, and the couple’s allergies to grass, has kept them stuck inside.
Hundreds of small cobbled paving stones create a large rectangular area for a dining room. Rows of cedars along their fence create privacy from neighbours and subtly disguise a shed. A curved pathway through the yard is torn up and replaced with a straight lined path of square pavers and river rocks, which lines the perimeter of the new space and leads out of the yard.
