As parents of a young son, PJ and Ria find themselves spending most of their time in their family room. It’s comfortable and stylish, but its best asset is that is leads directly to their front courtyard. Outside its private and safely enclosed for their son, but it’s also decaying and dysfunctional.
As a solid structure with good lines, this space just needs a facelift. A patchy bit of grass is replaced with flagstone and an old graying fence is painted charcoal. Mirrors installed on the fence panels make the space look larger, and with plants placed in front, the greenery appears fuller.
