Helen and Nik restored their early 1900’s home, focusing on their open kitchen and dining area as cooking paradise and family-central. Outside, the cement and stone surrounding the pool serve as nothing more than a walkway to and from a swim.
Kelly is inspired to draw this family outside, and keep them there, for long evenings of cooking, dining and socializing. A tall outdoor fireplace is finished in slate and becomes the focal point of the space, while a matching slate cooking area is topped with an elegant soap stone counter. A kitchen and dining area to rival any other - but even better, poolside.
