John and Marissa love to cook, and they have invested in creating their dream kitchen inside.
It's functional for both cooking and entertaining, with top of the line appliances, a bar with stools and a dining table. It's set up so their friends can mingle about in the same room while they're cooking. Right off their inside space is an enormous empty deck. John and Marissa want to extend their parties outside, but such an expansive space was overwhelming for them.
Because their deck is so large, Kelly designs all the pieces to be substantial in size. A bar with stucco on the exterior, tile on the interior and a sleek granite counter top houses top of the line stainless steel appliances. Large cedar planters with tall plants and lush foliage at the base provide privacy from the neighbouring homes.
