The inspiration for Renee’s painting is her beautiful ocean view and the natural light that streams into her studio. But in between her home and the ocean is an unused and overgrown backyard.
She would love to paint outside, but needs to be able to control the light.
A modern pergola is designed in keeping with the lines of the home, and square paving stones surrounded in turf form a natural but solid surface for Renee to work upon. A custom made canvas canopy creates shelter, or retracts to let in the sunlight, and curtains made of outdoor fabric can be adjusted to control the exposure.
